Immigration courts recorded 1.8 million new cases from Oct. 1, 2023, to Sept. 30, 2024, according to data from the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) at Syracuse University, reviewed by Axios. Just 0.47% of these cases involved possible deportations based on alleged criminal activity. |
