Fact Check Team: 200,000 deportation cases dropped over DHS filing failures, report says
By Konner McIntire

A recent report from Syracuse University's Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse has revealed a concerning trend in deportation cases. Since the start of the Biden administration, nearly 200,000 deportation cases have been dropped by immigration judges. This is due to the Department of Homeland Security failing to file required paperwork called a "Notice to Appear" (NTA) with the court at the time of scheduled hearings.
