PRIMER: Immigration Enforcement Mechanisms at the U.S. Border |

The dedicated docket system has resulted in removal orders for many families appearing on these accelerated dockets. The Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC), an immigration data-tracking organization housed at Syracuse University, reported that from the end of 2022, over 110,000 cases had been assigned to the Dedicated Docket. During that same period 11,225 were marked as completed, but only thirteen of those cases resulted in a grant of asylum or another form of removal relief. |
