Opinion: Data show Rep. Williams need not panic about migrants (Your Letters) |

According to research done in 2020 by TRAC, the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse at Syracuse University right here in New York’s 22nd Congressional District, only 11 percent failed to appear. That means nine out of every 10 showed up in court as directed. The rate was lower, of course, when the asylum seekers were forced to remain in Mexico under the former administration. |
