Based on data available through Syracuse University’s Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC), which analyzes deportation cases by the type of charge levied against the respondent, roughly 70 percent of new cases are based upon entry without inspection, terrorism, crime, and other violations associated with illegal alien status.
