Issue Brief: Fast, Not Fair — How Expedited Processes Harm Immigrant Children Seeking Protection

Data obtained and analyzed by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) at Syracuse University show that of the more than 80,000 new immigration court cases for children between October 2021 and February 2022, roughly 20,000 (25%) were for children in families in the dedicated docket.
