ICE held more than 24,000 people in detention as of the end of January 2023, slightly more than a year ago, according to the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse, a data monitoring project at Syracuse University. Nearly 190 men are held at Mesa Verde and Golden State Annex, according to ICE’s most recent detention statistics. |
