What do you do when the federal government starts "disappearing" important court records?
Worse than that, what if the disappearing records are the asylum applications of vulnerable people seeking protection in the United States?
That's what Susan Long, a statistician and co-founder of TRAC, the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse at Syracuse University asked herself this week.
"It was really...what can I say? Just shocking," she told TPM in a phone call Thursday.
