We’re about to hit a new record low for white-collar prosecutions

A new report from Syracuse University’s Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse finds that white-collar crime prosecutions are at half their level from eight years ago. In fact, they’re on track to reach their lowest level since records began, back in fiscal 1986. The numbers look even worse when adjusted for population growth over that period.
