An analysis released last week by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse of Syracuse University, noted that families who had been released in border communities to await adjudication of their asylum claim were typically traveling into the interior of the U.S. and most of the top 10 courts where family cases were located were in areas usually classified as sanctuary jurisdictions. These courts include those in New York city, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Chicago.
