Immigration court backlog rises By Tiffany Huertas |

Hundreds of thousands of immigration cases across the country are pending in the federal courts. Today, 829,608 cases are stuck in the system, according to TRAC, a research data center at Syracuse University. In Texas, there are 123,024 pending cases, with 27,438 of them in San Antonio. |
