The impact of sanctuary policies on ICE arrests is also evident in a report released last week by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) at Syracuse University. “Despite this administration's concerted efforts to push for greater assistance by state and local law enforcement agencies, as yet these efforts appear to have had little impact on the number of individuals ICE takes into custody from other law enforcement agencies,” the report said. |
