Treacherous crossings, precarious arrivals: Responses to the influx of unaccompanied minors in the Hudson Valley

According to Syracuse University's Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse(TRAC), in almost half of the 2014 cases where an unaccompanied minor was represented by a lawyer the child was allowed to stay in the US. When children were not represented by legal counsel,they were given an order of removal (deportation) in 75% of the cases......[Citing TRAC research].
