In 2015, a total of 485 ICE detainees were at the Orange County jail during the course of the year, and 288 were transferred to other facilities, according to the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse, or TRAC. TRAC is a data research and distribution center based at Syracuse University. Only the Buffalo facility was busier. The average stay of ICE detainees at the Orange County jail was 76 days. |
