Homeland Security Wants to Deport Him, But One US Navy Vet is Beating the Odds -- So Far

According to Syracuse University’s Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) last year, 90 percent of all people seeking asylum without an attorney in Immigration Court were denied. More than half with an attorney succeeded. That means people facing a U.S. Immigration Court judge were five times more likely to have their case resolved in their favor if they were represented by an attorney.
