U.S. judges are rejecting a growing number of cases where the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has sought to deport people from the country, a new study said.
In big cities with a large population of immigrants such as Los Angeles and New York, the rejection rate is as high as 70 percent, while in Oregon the rate is 63 percent, according to the study released by Syracuse University's Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) on Thursday.
