Unfortunately, the statistical data suggest the likelihood of deportation rather than safe asylum. Statistics vary slightly, but generally the rate of deportation back to Guatemala,Honduras,El Salvador, and Mexico is as high as 95–97 percent. Instead of receiving hospitality and long-term welcome, the vast majority of these mothers and children are being deported right back into the horrors from which they have fled.......[Citing TRAC research].
