Deportations temporarily halted for some Central American families
By Lomi Kriel

An analysis of about 26,300 deportation cases involving mostly Central American women with children who arrived after 2014 showed less than 30 percent of these families had attorneys, according to the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse at Syracuse University. Without counsel, only 1.5 percent were allowed to stay compared to more than a quarter of those with attorneys.
