Arizona is one of the 10 states with the largest backlog of pending cases in immigration court, according to Syracuse University's Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse. In addition, Arizona's average wait time ranks among the top 10.
Wait times increased 133 percent nationally in the last decade, according to TRAC data.
