During the first eight months of FY 2013 the federal government has filed actions in the Immigration Courts against 107,538 noncitizens seeking their removal according to the latest (May 2013) data obtained and analyzed by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC).
If this pace continues for the remainder of the fiscal year it is projected that 189,267 new removal orders will be sought.
The top five nationalities against which removal orders were being sought were: Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, and China.
