Free Webinar: Who Is Being Taken into ICE Custody?
(29 May 2013) A free webinar is scheduled for Wednesday, June 5 at 2:00pm (Eastern US time) to present and discuss findings on current Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention practices, state-by-state. On a typical work day, ICE takes about 1,500 individuals into custody. If activity levels continue at this pace, ICE detentions will total around 400,000 for the current fiscal year. And the ultimate outcome, whether removal or release, has varied in surprising ways from one state to the next.

TRAC's analysis of very recent case-by-case ICE records covering the period November-December 2012, along with new TRAC reports covering the topic, will be presented. The webinar will close with a question and answer session.
