| Criminal Enforcement Updated Through FY 2005 |

TRACFED Criminal Enforcement data have been updated to include all of FY 2005.
A quick look at the data shows that the number of prosecutions classified as White Collar Crime by the Justice Department continued on a downward trend for fiscal year 2005 with 7,635 prosecutions filed. These filings represented 6.8% of the total prosecutions filed for the year. Compared with FY 2000 when 9,532 White Collar prosecutions were filed (10.7% of the total), this represents a substantial drop.
