Loan Debt

A crackdown on college grads who still owe the government money -- the U.S. Government is hauling hundreds of college students and graduates to court for defaulting on their federal student loans. The report released by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse says the feds have prosecuted 25% more loans advanced. A separate report shows 14,000 Pennsylvania students are now in default. That's 7 percent of all students in the state.
