U.S. Immigration Court Backlog Makes Hiring Competent, Experienced Attorney Crucial

A recent article in the Huffington Post cites data released by Syracuse University's Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse as indicating that U.S. immigration courts, across the nation, are experiencing the largest backlog of cases in history. A limited number of immigration judges, combined with an ever-growing number of cases, have increased waiting times to well over a year in many instances.
