Report: Deportations In Colorado Flat Since 2001 |

The newspaper quotes data from the nonprofit Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse at Syracuse University. There were 4,175 deportation proceedings in the state in 2001. In the fiscal year that ended in July, there were 4,098 deportation proceedings. Deportation proceedings have jumped 45 percent nationally in 10 years from 1.6 million in 2001 to 2.3 million in 2010. |
