Weapons Prosecutions Are At Lowest Level in a Decade By Shoshana Walter |

Data released Monday shows new federal weapons prosecutions have fallen to their lowest level in a decade, and the rate of prosecutions in San Francisco is the fourth lowest in the nation. There were only 484 prosecutions nationwide during January, the lowest since 2001, according to the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse's analysis of the latest data from the Justice Department |
