For almost 47,000 arriving refugee families in the U.S., the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse, an independent research center at Syracuse University, found that 99.9 percent of refugees showed up to their initial immigration hearings when they had representation, compared to the 81.6 percent that showed up when they didn’t have representation. |
