Shutdown leads to another year of uncertainty for Guinean couple

The Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse, a data research center at Syracuse University, estimated that 13,094 court dates would have been missed in Texas had the shutdown continued though Feb. 1. The U.S. Justice Department, which operates the Executive Office for Immigration Review, has not yet released an official count.
