New ICE Policy Could Close 247,922 Immigrant Cases By Jack Fink
	According to the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse, at Syracuse University, during the first nine months of fiscal year 2010, there are 247,922 deportation and political asylum cases pending before immigration courts nationwide. In Texas, there are 23,234 pending court cases; 3,711 of those cases are in Dallas and nearly half involve illegal immigrants from Mexico.
