Judge orders man’s deportation — but no more prison time

A total of 3,780 convictions in immigration cases occurred in New Mexico between Oct. 1, 2014, and Sept. 30, according to the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse, a nonpartisan center at Syracuse University. That was an increase of 3.8 percent over the previous year.
