Jail visitation cancelled for Saturday because of protest by immigrant youth

Federal authorities ordered more than 90,000 people deported in fiscal year 2015, according to the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC), a data gathering organization based at Syracuse University. More than 20,000 of those deportations were ordered in Texas, with more than 6,000 deportations ordered in courts in Dallas and about 4,400 of in courts in Houston, according to the data. Nationwide, deportations have dropped significantly from 2005, when more than 220,000 people were ordered deported.
