President Obama got it half right on immigration By Elliot Young |

According to the well-respected Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse at Syracuse University, more than half of those deported by Obama had only minor traffic or immigration violations. Only 12 percent of the deportees had committed a serious offense like aggravated assault, robbery, rape or homicide. If we were to use the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) definition of criminals, then more than half of America would be considered convicted criminals. |
