Faith groups announce nat'l coalition to support sanctuary movement

Numbers from the Department of Homeland Security show that around 1.8 million people have been removed from the United States by the Obama administration, at a pace of nearly 1,000 people per day. An analysis by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse, a nonpartisan research project supported by Syracuse University, show that around 400,000 immigration cases are currently backlogged in the court system.
