Three hundred thousand people were deported from the United States for aggravated felony convictions between fiscal years 1992 and 2006. Given the stark rises in deportations since 2008, the current number likely far exceeds this. However, the government does not publish data regarding the number of people it deports based on aggravated felony convictions..........[citing TRAC research].
